Noel is a business consultant with 28 years experience at a number of levels within the Computer industry. Over the past ten years, Noel has operated at a senior management level as the Irish business development manager for public sector North and South with the Oracle Corporation, as Country manager for Peoplesoft and as Sales Director of Fujitsu (aka ICL). His experience in general management includes structures, strategy, long range planning, sales management, market development, channel development and the development of a comprehensive outsourcing strategy. Noel is currently acting as business mentor to a number of chief executives in manufacturing and distribution and has also worked on a number of business integration projects in recent months. Noel has a diploma in business studies specialising in business strategy and is accredited as a European Assessor for the European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM).

Ciaran Dunne is an experienced Program/Project manager with in-depth business analysis skills; Ciaran has over 20 years experience of managing, designing, implementing and supporting mission critical business systems. For the last four years Ciaran has concentrated on the start-up and development of services businesses supplying specialist project management and business analysis skills to the Irish market place. Prior to this, Ciaran spent 16 years in senior consultancy roles with blue-chip technology companies including Oracle Corporation, IBM and Digital Equipment. Ciaran brings a range of skills and experiences to bear on his assignments ranging from program/project management, business process optimisation, business requirements definition, systems architectures definition and systems design.

Martin McCarthy

Martin McCarthy is a senior management consultant and operations specialist. He has a wealth of managerial experience with multinational computer and electrical engineering organisations in Ireland and Germany. His hands on experience includes technical services management, commercial management, quality and IT management. He has worked with client organisations in many sectors including the financial and SME sectors. Latterly he has worked as an independent consultant to a number of public sector organisations, helping with strategic and development plans, IT strategy, IT services development, measurement systems, and strategy deployment programmes. Martin has developed skills as a process facilitator. He can lead teams to agreeing shared goals and developing implementation plans through inclusive processes. He can apply group creativity techniques to overcome perceived hurdles. Martin has a special interest in team building.

Denis McGowan

Denis has worked extensively in senior Supply Chain Management positions in a number of industries including Electronics, Plastics, Printing, Engineering and Software.

A Mechanical Engineering technician by trade, Denis started his career with Donegal International Machinery, a small engineering company. From there he progressed to Irish Plastics Packaging (now CVP) where he worked as Production and Inventory Controller. He moved to Amdahl in 1981, where he progressed from a Planner role to Senior Planner and to Production Control Manager position. He also worked as a project manager responsible for Amdahl’s World Class Manufacturing efforts. He was heavily involved in the development of training and education material as part of this project. In 1995 Denis helped to start up a software company, Dialogue Systems that specialises in Health & Safety software. Denis’s role was Director Responsible for Client Services.

Declan O Curry

Declan was employed in the IT industry in Ireland for more than twenty years. During his time as General Manager - Managed Services with Siemens Nixdorf he was responsible for the entire customer service process including, customer acquisition and retention, sales management, contract negotiation, service level agreement negotiation, service delivery, staff training and development, system implementation, service level reporting and performance review. He drove the implementation of ISO9001 quality systems in the Managed Services division.

Declan was responsible for implementing and managing many change projects within his own Managed Services division and was involved in facilitating a number of international culture change workshops for the company in Germany. He was instrumental in the definition of requirements and the formulation of strategies and plans for the achievement of strategic change objectives within his own business unit and has extensive experience of the project planning and implementation issues involved in change processes. As the former Chief Operating Officer of an Irish SME Declan has experience of the problems associated with the day to day operation of smaller companies among them, managing cash flow, liaising with suppliers and sales partners and dealing with local legal, governmental and financial institutions, staff recruitment, development and retention.
